ChatGPT refuses as a Language Learning Model to explain why Gary, Indiana is the best place to live in the country. It also refused to do so for Baltimore, Maryland stating that it would be a subjective claim and Baltimore has it's challenges (I'm from Baltimore) and then I asked about Fort Lauderdale where I live and OpenAI was glad to tell me that Fort Lauderdale is considered one of the best places to live in the country where it refused to do so for Indiana and Baltimore. While we're at it and dealing with privacy issues Google settled with 40 out of 50 states here over tracking issues and is paying a few hundred million in fines. Now companies are laying off en masse and doing a RIF which means a Reduction in Force or workforce for those who keep on hearing about these RIF's and had wondered what the acronym meant.  These companies over-hired during the pandemic, expecting a much larger economic bounce back that was pent up with money flooded into the system and for the last year we've been bearing the outpouring of that money.

For image creation on the fly you can register with OpenAI this is a game changer that is going to destroy the royalty image business overnight. Think about how the iPhone destroyed MP3 players. Who is going to want stock images of a team at work for a fee when they can generate it via AI in seconds and ensure it's unique and is not going to be recreated?

For fun I put in Richart Ruddie to see what images would be created in the OpenAI image generator and here is what it created:

As you can see I don't look like either men on the left or right and I don't have a sculpture or statue in a square but maybe it was focusing on Rich and Art? That could be the reasoning for the ship sailing. To determine if a photo is created via OpenAI look for the colors of the rainbow in the bottom right corner.

Since I'm an art collector and fan I typed in Picasso Painting on the Beach. The initial photos had an easel on the sand. A clear operator error that was adjusted to "a picasso painting of the beach" and this is what it generated:

Chan Zuckerberg Initiative

Mark Zuckerberg just announced today on Facebook an amazing announcement about their hiring of Dr. Cori Bargmann. The goal is to cure all diseases in our children's lifetime. Arnold Schwarzenegger (No way I spelled that right without auto correct) chimed in and said it best and we all should take note: "life is all about what we give, not what we make".

Using your power for good and to continiously make the world a better place starting at such a young age is what sets the CZ initiative apart from so many others who have amassed wealth at a young age but did not act either till much later in life or not at all. This is inspiring and one of the many reasons why a recent poll came out that placed Zuck at the top for millennial inspirations.

X.AI The Future of Scheduling

X.AI's artificial intelligence Amy is like something from the movie HER. It's going to be one of the next big things as they call it. With $12 million dollars in funding and the recipient of some great press already.

It's in Beta form right now and only select users have access to it at the moment as the artificial intelligence is learning patterns and recognizing how best to respond and schedule appointments for it's users.

The software will end up replacing Apples SIRI sooner rather than later. That is my prediction.
